Treatment is customised to suit according to the type and severity of the injury or illness. A fully trained technician monitors the treatment throughout the process using both video and audio systems and you are welcome to stay with your animal throughout the treatment.
Treatment durations are approximately 1 to 2 hours and animals respond well to as little as three to five treatment sessions, depending on their individual needs.
During HBOT the animal simply breathes pure oxygen under increased pressure which increases the animal's oxygen tissue saturation by 10 to 15 times beyond normal levels.
This elevated tissue oxygenation promotes nautral healing and recovery takes place at an accelerated rate.
